We took GG Mary to AZ 88 for her 94th birthday

Here she is standing in front of the AZ 88 Christmas tree which this year is made from broken martini glasses which have been melted into a plexiglass mold in the shape of a Christmas tree

and with her birthday sundae.

Mary has been a bright spot in my life. She has taught me that family can be by choice as well as by birth. She has taught me how to grow old with grace and dignity.
