For Rebekkah's 4th birthday I decided to make her some clothes.  It was really fun sewing for a little girl.

Andrew wrote this poem and received honorary mention in the district wide 1st grade poetry writing contest.  He likes to sing his poem to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle.  We are all so proud of you Andrew!

Just Dandy

Ellie and I took Matt to the Farmer's Market in Mesa yesterday.

He had never seen a dandelion before!

He harvested a few and had fun blowing the seeds off.

Day Trippers

Debbie and I flew to San Diego on Wednesday for a little get away. 
We drove around in this rental car that

 resembled a loaf of bread. 

Bought strawberries at a roadside stand and ate the whole box.

Enjoyed a delicious Crab and Shrimp Louie salad for lunch

Stopped to smell the flowers in La Jolla

 

Relaxed at the park by the sea in La Jolla watching the waves and the sea lions swimming in the ocean below.

We finished up with a yummy dinner at Point Loma Seafood. 
It was a delightful day.
