I seem to have something going on sort of similar to a Crissy doll of the 1960's. As I remember Crissy had a mass of hair rooted into her head but she also had another thick lock of hair that emerged from the top of her head. To make her hair grow you pushed on her tummy, to make it short again your turned a knob on her back. I seem to have the same phenomenon happening on my chin. Each time I touch my chin a long hair seems to have grown out like magic. Unfortunately I do not have the knob feature which rolls it back in, I have to pull it out. The very next day, as though someone had pushed on Crissy's tummy, it is back in all it's glory.

There's no place like home

This is the brochure from the first apartment we rented in 1968

Apparently we did belong where the ACTION was because we lived there for two years

As I recall the carpeting and drapes were a lovely harvest gold

Gourmet cooks of this era must have washed their dishes in the sink as there was no dishwasher

Some how I don't remember comparing it to living on the French Rivera

We had the one bedroom for $125, I guess the one closet was big enough for even all our clothes. That area designated at the "dressing room" was the area in front of the sink where the door was, don't know why it was called a "dressing room"

Andrew wanted a robot cake so we decided to make one. The tin effect was created by some spray on silver icing. Rob decided to taste it and sprayed some on his tongue.
