I went ice skating on my very first time. I did not do so good and then I told the coach and he helped me but I still couldn't do it. Auntie Amy and Grandma are going to take me ice skating so I could learn how to ice skate and learn how to play hockey. And then I want to go back to ice hockey again.
Matt stepped on a thorn in his yard a few weeks ago and refused to let anyone remove it. He complained about it a lot but when his parents tried to get it out he screamed and wiggled and they gave up. On Tuesday when he was over we decided we must get it out. We used the "hold him down and just do it" method of thorn removal. After a few minutes it was out and he was happy again. Later that afternoon when Matt was told (forced) to share a ball with his brother I heard him say under his breath to Andrew"I hope you get a torn (thorn) in your toot (foot)" Interesting reasoning process for a barely three year old.
This is where semi-sick wife had just settled in for a nap after taking care of grandson, fixing lunch and changing sheets, when sick husband came out and said "I don't know why you say this is not the sickest I've ever been?" Then walked away grumbling "I did not come out here for you to act like this"
