Matt stepped on a thorn in his yard a few weeks ago and refused to let anyone remove it. He complained about it a lot but when his parents tried to get it out he screamed and wiggled and they gave up. On Tuesday when he was over we decided we must get it out. We used the "hold him down and just do it" method of thorn removal. After a few minutes it was out and he was happy again. Later that afternoon when Matt was told (forced) to share a ball with his brother I heard him say under his breath to Andrew"I hope you get a torn (thorn) in your toot (foot)" Interesting reasoning process for a barely three year old.
